Gene di Napoli is a former actor who, during the 70's, always played the same role: a shady gangster in a chenille tank top, who died in the first round-up. Gene is a charismatic nostalgic bragger, "bigger than life" as America wants them, capable of constantly reinventing himself. This music video takes a glance at Gene's life, between dusty memorabilia, photos with Joe Pesci and Martin Scorsese, and a nowhere to be seen love of a lifetime: Paulette.
